Exhaust emission level of the type approval as printed in CoC item 47 or registration field V.9: the emission standard designation, for light-duty vehicles the 'Emission standard' names of Reg. (EU) 2017/1151 Annex I Appendix 6 (for example Euro 6d-ISC-FCM), lower-cased and joined with hyphens. Light-duty and L-category levels use Arabic numerals (euro-6d), heavy-duty levels Roman numerals (euro-vi-e), as their instruments do; receivers compare strings and do not equate euro-6 with euro-vi. The Appendix 6 character code (for example AX) is not sent. Designators: temp (temporary), evap (evaporative emissions), isc (in-service conformity), fcm (fuel consumption monitoring), bis (second step), plus (Euro 5+ of L-category).
